The 2014 Nissan GT-R Appears on World’s Fastest Cars Show
For its price tag, the 2014 Nissan GT-R could be considered a bargain deal. Coming in at just over six-figures, the new Nissan GT-R can certainly run with sports cars that cost tens of thousands more, or even double the price. Thanks to its recent appearance on “The World’s Fastest Cars Show”, complaints about the 2014 Nissan GT-R saying that it lacks the “soul” of some of its European counterparts, have been dispelled. With a blistering 2.7-second 0-60 mph time, precise road grip, and plenty of performance-enhancing technology, the new Nissan GT-R is absolutely a force to be reckoned with.
Under the hood of the 2014 Nissan GT-R is an incredibly powerful 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine. It puts out an impressive 545 hp and undergoes 44 minutes of bench testing to break it in. This includes 10 minutes of redlining. A computer-controlled shock absorber-dampening system monitors a variety of GT-R attributes, including the vehicle’s speed, lateral acceleration, torque, engine rpm, and braking habits. This allows the 2014 Nissan GT-R to provide proper handling and ride balance. The all-wheel drive system delivers the total load of available torque to the rear wheels, and when required, half of the power can be allocated to the front wheels. That way, the new Nissan GT-R delivers the driving experience of a rear-wheel vehicle without sacrificing all-wheel drive confidence and capability.
Every 2014 Nissan GT-R is outfitted with Recaro leather-appointed front seats built for performance. They’ll keep you in place with ease because their cutouts have been specially designed to promote movement for the driver’s legs. For an added touch of rugged sophistication, the GT-R interior features a carbon-fiber and charcoal brushed-metal trim. Custom performance can be adjusted on the fly with three different modes via the gear shift. A Normal mode is ideal for everyday driving, the R-Mode provides maximum performance, while the Special Mode is perfect for long drives or particularly slippery road conditions.
